Ryan Evans tattoo artist

With more than 15 years' experience, Ryan Evans is an internationally recognised tattoo artist specialising in black and grey realism, portraiture and large-scale tattoo work.

Ryan spent six years tattooing in the UK and Europe before returning to New Zealand to establish The Brave Tattoo in Auckland. His work has taken him internationally, including guest spots in the United States, and has earned awards at major international tattoo conventions.

Known particularly for highly detailed portraits and large multi-session pieces, Ryan works closely with each client to create custom tattoos designed around the individual, placement and scale of the project. Clients travel from throughout New Zealand and overseas to be tattooed by Ryan.
